Dr. Dave’s No Bake Energy Snackers

A good healthy snack should be like a slow-burning fuel, give you a lift, and keep you going. These protein-packed energy balls are easy to make, perfectly delicious and help keep you fuller longer.

Instructions

  • In a bowl stir together the oats, coconut, flaxseed meal, dried fruits, sunflower and chia seeds.
  • In a separate bowl stir together almond/cashew butter, honey, and the vanilla.
  • Add almond butter mixture to cereal mixture; stir well to combine.
  • Shape mixture into 1-inch balls.
  • ** Note ** To toast oats, spread oats in a 15×10-inch baking pan. Bake at 350ºF 10 to 15 minutes or until toasted, stirring twice.

Place balls between sheets of waxed paper in an airtight container; cover. Store in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.

    It says it makes 30 balls. How many balls are in a serving?
